After coming back from a spell last year to win 2 in a row and then being super consistent on his return this year without any luck, we knew this bloke wasn’t far away and just needed a bit of luck in running.
The Bullet had placed 3 out of 3 and we took him to Kilmore after a bit of a freshen up with high hopes. He jumped well but wasn’t left alone and had to do it hard all the way. He put the front runners to bed pretty easy but the hard run told late with him just hanging on at the post to rack up his 3rd win from 15 starts. He showed his toughness and heart at the end to do so with Jarrod Fry really having to punch him out. He run the fastest 1200 of the meeting and 5.7 lengths better than class to do so indicating that he has more to come.
He is building quite a sold record this bloke and at 4 hopefully has a lot more wins in him for the loyal ownership group. Having got rid of his 64 challenge and rating a 65 it might be just about time to try him out in the city and hopefully this super consistent bloke can crack a city win.
